Hey Rahul,
Well everyone has some rough patches in his or her lives at one or other point.
We cant make people behave or act in the way we want them to. So it feels bad when people dont do what we want them to do or react in certain way or other. It is more difficult when they are our blood relations.
But u have to cope with it and one day u will be independent and can go to ur separate way. JUST CONCENTRATE ON THT.
I CAN FULLY UNDERSTAND UR SITUATION COZ I AM FIGHTING DEPESSION TOO AND THT 2 BCOZ OF MY FAMILY.
U can always mail me at priya_shergill18@yahoo.com if u wanna talk somethings out. I wont be judgemental.
Take care
and remember life is b'ful!!!!!

I'm sure people listen to you even if that's not how it seems... I know it can be hard, especially if your family seems more concerned with other things or people who aren't you... I don't know your exact situation, nor will I pretend too... but there are people you can talk to at school or join a sport or club and make new friends that will help alleviate some of the neglect you feel from your family as to your problems... you could also take anti-depressants which aren't my favorite but like St.John's Wart... but those usually take around 2 weeks to begin to work. When I start to feel depressed I usually go for a run until I'm either to tired to run or get a runner's high' that takes my mind off things for awhile... but don't do anything harmful because things will change for the better... it might take awhile... but they'll get better... good luck with everything!

Some time the best way to get your problem open is to wright them down on paper. You might not think that there listening but, they could be just because they are not answer dose not mean that they are not listening. Ask them some question about the convention or have them repeat what you told them. When I have problem I some time like to go in a chat room and talk to some one there. Keep your spirit up! I will listen to you rosebudwow@yahoo.com

Do you have depression? Symptoms include:
Feelings of overwhelming sadness or fear or the seeming inability to feel emotion (emptiness).
A decrease in the amount of interest or pleasure in all, or almost all, activities of the day, nearly every day.
Changing appetite and marked weight gain or loss.
Disturbed sleep patterns, such as insomnia, loss of REM sleep, or excessive sleep (Hypersomnia).
Psychomotor agitation or retardation nearly everyday.
Fatigue, mental or physical, also loss of energy.
Feelings of guilt, helplessness, hopelessness, anxiety, or fear.
Trouble concentrating or making decisions or a generalized slowing and obtunding of cognition, including memory.
Recurrent thoughts of death (not just fear of dying), recurrent suicidal ideation without a specific plan, or a suicide attempt or a specific plan for committing suicide.
A decrease in self-esteem.
Inattention to personal hygiene.
Sensitivity to noise.
Physical aches and pains, and the belief these may be signs of serious illness.
Fear of 'going mad'.
Change in perception of time
Depression should be treated. You have to take antidepressants under the guidance of a Clinical Psychiatrist.
Self medication is not good. But if you are not going to see a psychiatrist, you can try
Start Paroxetine 10mg and gradually increase the dose upto 60mg.
Suicide is a permanent solution for a temporary problem.

My school councellor used to say "if someone talks about suicide, they will never do it"
It is a reference to the fact that those who are is a bad enough place to go through with such an act do not show signs of searching for help etc.
You are talking about it so you won't do it. Look at it that way. Also your life doesn't start till you move out. I hope that makes you feel better.

I know the feeling that you are going through.I had a hard time talking to
my family. They just did not understand me.It is hard to fine someone that will understand where you are coming from.So what i did,i took long
walks and talk to God,You might think that is strange, but when i could not talk to anyone or trust anyone i turn to God for help.He understood
and put me in the right path on how to talk to family and friends. He will
give you the right words to say at the right time.Go to him,ask him for help and set back and see the change.

Try finding out what makes you happy. What do you enjoy doing. What do you like about yourself. Try to focus on what your good at. Don't focus on what your not good at. Because what you focus on will grow. 9 times out of 10 if you have a PC to communicate with the world, your doing a heck of a lot better than most. Life is what you make it. You have the power to control your destiny. However, you also have to power to submit to your depression. You can't let it win. I know there's something great in you. Try to tap in to that gift and take it to a whole other level. And if no one will talk to you, so what, talk to yourself. Most of the time the people we want to talk to are just as messed up as we are anyway. There just better at covering it up. I don't know if you know him or not, but I talk to my God and that always helps. ALWAYS
Good Luck,
CERA

DEAR FRIEND, DONT BE SAD AND UPSET,
MAKE FRIENDS AND TALK TO THEM, THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO , THAN FEELING LONELY AND DEPRESSED.
TRY TO DO SOMETHING CREATIVE,
GOD HAS CREATED EVERYBODY WITH A CAUSE , SO NOONE IS USELESS, AND HAS A DUTY TO PERFORM, SO GET UP AND START WORKING ON SOMETHING AND ONE DAY U WILL BE THE ONE WHO WILL BE LISTENED ALWAYS.
MAKE COOL FRIENDS, OR GET A GIRLFRIEND, THERE IS SO MUCH OF A BEAUTY AROUND, LOOK AND FIND OUT, IN CASE IF U DONT GET THE FIRST GIRL, CHUCK HER AND LOOK OUT FOR THE NEXT ONE, BUT NEVER LOOSE HOPE.
BECOS LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL,

You know my 18 year old daughter was talking about her x-boyfriend he's all the time talking about killing himself! Tonight my daughter told me that he doesn't have the guts to do that! It don't take guts to kill yourself it takes guts to stay alive and deal with your issues.
I'm sorry you feel this way but remember your not the only person in the family.
