The occurances of mad cow disease in the uk have been relatively minor of late, but back about 4 years ago there was a big epidemic that broke out in the uk and also parts of europe.

Yes there is PMS and BMC, both mad cows.

no more so than anywhere else now, but in 2000 there was an outbreak pretty bad. its really rare now
