I use Windows Defender (the microsoft spyware software) and it works like a charm!!

The beauty of WD is that if an exe downloads through internet pages and even if you double click it, WD will block it immediately!! It even catches the "browser helper" spyware softwares.

Apart from anti-spyware softwares, you need to have antivirus softwares too.

may be yes, there tools are enough to remove spywares. you can also try for spysweeper , hijackthis , trend micro CWshredder.

these are globally trusted antispyware softwares. AD-ware is the best which removes the defected files with spywares. but
these are not real time softwares, that is these tools wont run at the backend while u r on internet, for that u will have to buy full versions.

so its very important that u have nice anti-virus software running while u r on internet. its very much essential.
go for norton antivirus 2005 or AVG-antivirus softwares.
these two are the only i recommend. AND more over i recommend u Norton 2005 software , because its the best and highly powerful tool. AVG also works , i rank it 2. as AVG did not work for me. but it has a global ranking.
norton just makes ur system slow but thats the power of norton which is the sign of working. disable ur norton software while u r not in the internet. ur PC will work faster. u can also use norton 2003 which does not slow ur system and works equivelent to 2005. u need to do updates very often.

In my experience I can recommend Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition for removing adware and Spyware Doctor for removing spyware.

First one is free but for second you have to pay. Both of them are very powerful and effective.

No, no, no!!

Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware are good, but not the only ones around. I've got six on my PC.

1 antivirus checker &1 firewall, but no lmit on spyware checkers.

Make sure your SWC doesn't PUT crud on your machine.

try avast, thats one of the best ones ive used... i think it was much better than spybot and stuff like that... avast found stuff spybot didnt find... it is also free and i believe it like norton or mcafee, as in antivirus software as well

The only thing I learned is that you can have as many as is needed on your system. Remember to always make sure they are compatible look on their reviews stuff like that.

You cvan use many different one out there, CA(computer associated) has Pest patrol, it works quite well and I use it, give it shot it works quite well, with some of the other.
