It is so easy for me to talk to other girls, but boys really make me nervous. What can I do to let guys know I'm interested in them without going too far out of my comfort zone (and without freaking them out if they're not interested)?

Don't worry about the freak out. We're still flattered. And we forget about it in a day or two. And it takes a lot to freak us out in the first place.
Just be really friendly, ask him questions about his life, and start talking to him outside of class, so he knows it's not just "business". Just talk about normal stuff. And sit or stand close to him--a little closer than you do to most guys.
Trust me, he'll already be thinking about dating you just from that. Actually, if you catch him staring into space he's probably vividly imagining what he could do with you. Yep--THAT. Sorry, but it's the testosterone. (There's a reason we never tell you what we're thinking.) If he likes you, and he doesn't ask you out, he'll just start blabbering and blushing for no reason. That's your cue to be merciful and ask him out.

Well, I think its a myth that guys can get freaked out by a girl being interested in them that they're not into--we don't really work like that or at least not if the guy is normal. But yeah just try to find things to talk to him about and smile a lot.

You can show a guy that your interested by giving them a lot of eye contact or smiling if they feel that they are not interested in you then they will simply let you know by there body gestures whether if they don’t bother to look at you or if they’re not paying attention to your body signals. If that is not the case and your simply just making conversation do a little flirting with them doesn’t have to be dirty just clean and innocent that way it can go both ways and if he doesn’t give you any type of response then; then you know he is not interested in you in that way.

Start by looking at them and saying Hi. Always make a point of doing this when you see them. They will say hello back if they are worth your time. Once you do this for a while you'll get the confidence to actually have a conversation with them.

Make eye contact, hold it and smile. If you're shy use it.
A look can say a thousand words.
Create a special look and/or flirty gesture reserved for the boys you like and work it.

Im the same way with girls. So I know where youre coming from. Just be yourself, show off your best qualities! Flirt with them a bit. Sooner or later with enough signs, theyll probably ask you out.

just be yourself act natural and relax on this it all come naturally as for how do boys work q, simple we spend 9 months in the perfect women then spend the rest of our lives trying to get into all the others lol
