Do older men prefer younger women?

Hi, I work as a Dating Doctor and a lot of my female clients worry that older men only prefer younger women.

So for men in their 40's what is your experience? Do they prefer younger women? Or do they prefer women their own age? Your thoughts, opinions and particularly experiences would be much appreciated!

id prefer someone younger, same or older than me. age is no difference as long as its legal, i'm ok with it.

You can't generalize. I have known many older men that I have tried to fix up with some of my younger friends....and the older men have told me they would like women closer too their own age. When you watch TV, it leads you to believe your stereo types are true.....but in my own personal experience, I would not agree.

When guys go for a dating event, all the men young and old flock towards the younger women. It's really sad for the older women because they are probably the same age as the older men but the men look at them like they are freaks or something.

Old men who date young women look completely ridiculous. Young women that date older men look like bimbo gold diggers. If they reserve the right to make public spectacles of themselves, then we should have the right to point and laugh at them.

Another major problem with dating someone much younger than you is that--- no matter how hard you try to avoid it, sooner or later, you're going to have to talk to them. This is very stressful. Don't forget that very young women tend to be hyper-sensitive and they cry easily and loudly. Then you're really in a jam. Try not to roll your eyes at the amazingly stupid things that they say. It's better to go into a muffled closet and quietly bang your head against the wall.

Or better yet, just find someone your own age to date.

Young enough to be attractive, yet mature enough to relate to in a meaningful way. 5-10 years younger perhaps ? Much more (of a difference) than that & the long term prospects are probably not great for a variety of reasons.

i'd prefer someone younger. hands down. no doubt.
yes, there is some risk that they will cheat on you with men their age, but i find that for the more down to earth ones, they look for a stabile relationship and to settle down and a lot of older men can provide that stability.
for me personally, it makes me feel younger and i like that she's at the right age for kids as i am as well. to me the perfect partnership would be a guy in his late 30's to early 40's. the woman to be in her mid to late 20's, early 30's.

Older men ALWAYS prefer younger women...it is a EGO thing...they can be ugly as hell but need a young women to feel good about themselves...it's been the same old thing for YEARS!!
