Icons present in desktop . Text is transparent without color , if color is applied and how can i bring it as the xp style i tried but i am not able to

well specifically right click on My Computer
click Properties
click Advance tab
click Visual Effects tab
Tick "Use drop shadow for icon labels on desktop" for transparent background of your icons' lable.

edit: n ya there are many options u can try, try the last one for xp style.

Right click on the desktop and click properties. Click on the themes tab. Choose Windows XP default from the drop down menu. Click apply. Have a great night.

Right click your desktop, go properties, click Appearance, then change "Windows and Buttons" to Windows XP style.

or, in case Windows XP has crapped out, do this:

Start > Run
type net start Themes
