Good day. Why is it that in a Windows 9x or ME task manager, whenever u close a program that is not responding (or a program that u think causing the other not to respond) it seems to close it faster while in Windows XP, it takes like a minute or 2? Is there any way i can optimize the task manager or any other method closing a program besides closing d program itself or Task Manager? Thanks.

I don't know it is always like you mentioned in all the Windows 9x machines.

You can download an advanced task/process manager kind of tool from http://www.sysinternals.com the name is Process Explorer. This tool has lots of advantages over the normal windows task manager.

Hope this will help you to solve the problem
