Is this going to be just some pointless remake of a classic cartoon just to satisfy all the Gen-Nexers.

And you're suprised?

Transformers have been around since I was in grade school (I distinctly remember them in 5th grade), and now I'm 38 years old.

My kids like Transformers (well, my 7 year old does) - and I'm sure he'll beg me to see the Transformers movies.

Hey, look at how long Scooby Doo has been going on.

When you have a good thing going - why stop? Clearly they're milking this cash cow for all it's worth!

No. This movie is going to be a re-introduction to some of the characters from the 80's with an updated look. All of the robots are going to be CGI and going to looking very realistic.
