When talking about age difference, I think the answer changes in later years as people develop and grow more. I'm thinking that as people reach their mid/late 20's they've done alot of growing and after that age changes aren't quite as dramatic. Also, some people develop/mature at differrent rates than others, putting them slighty ahead or behind the curve.

That being said, I'm thinking a difference of 10years is pushing the envelope?

After a person matures there is nothing wrong with dating people any number of years older. The greater the age gap, the more likely there are other motives than love involved.

Age is just a number. You are both adults and if you are both on the same wavelength then that is all that matters.
Saying that, I am having a sort of fling with a 44 year old and I am 26. The age gap worries me but only because of what other people might be thinking about it.

I don't think we should allow society to dictate age restrictions in relationships. There is a 21 year age gap between my boyfriend and I (I'm 27). I have never been happier in my life. Just like with any relationship, it needs to have the essentials like trust, understanding, communication, interests, goals, etc. If those elements are in place, then nothing else matters. Love is the greatest feeling in the world, and age shouldn't stop anyone from experiencing it.

it really is high quality. My rule develop into (before I grew to develop into 21 2 years in the past) develop into 4 years older and one three hundred and sixty 5 days youthful. i imagine once you turn 21 age would not easily count number so long because this is not 22 and 40 5 or something like that. also i imagine courting youthful adult men is disgusting. adult men already mature at a slower fee than females. So who, at enable's say 25, might want to favor a 21 three hundred and sixty 5 days previous that acted like he develop into 18? Yuck!

To be honest, I've always found age gaps like that a little bit creepy. It's because I usually look at the Elders age at birth of the Younger of the pair. Such as in the specified ages, it creeps me out to think of someone 13 years old marrying a baby.

On the other hand, Love is love.

If it works for you two, then why do you care what others think? Your relationship is between the two of you, not you and 18 other people who have some weird comment about it...and only you can know if you are okay for each other.
