Yes there are. Title 18 of the USC, Chapter 44 is the firearms sections of the federal law. There are very few federal laws that pertain strictly to concealed weapons, but two that jump to my mind are the Firearm Owner's Protection Act of 1986 (FOPA) and the Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act of 2004 (LEOSA).

FOPA makes it illegal for a state to have a weapons law that applies to a person who is just traveling through the state if the weapon is unloaded, locked securely, and legal in botht eh roginating and destination states for the journet.

LEOSA makes all state laws not applicable to the listed police officers while they are on duty, off duty, or after retirement. This includes carrying a loaded gun concealed as they do in most states already.

There is also a law on carrying firearms on federal property and another for in federal parks, I think.

To the best of my knowledge, there are no general laws for citizens carrying in their home states as that is considered a states rights issue. I could be wrong though.

Mainly state laws dictate the carriage of concealed weapons. But I have heard rumors as to a federal gun permit that you can get for like $200, and it allows you to carry it throughout the continental US.

Don't think so, but there are state laws and it is against the law to have a concealed weapon without a permit.

there are a number of laws but you must check the laws in each state specifically about carrying a hand gun some require training classes be taken others require training and registration with the police dept. and there may be others that require still more regulations so check the state you are in or going to first, Start with the local police dept and you can also check with the Legislature.

I don't think so. Those are usually regulated by the state. North Carolina allows concealed weapons as long as you have a permit for it that appears as a symbol on your driver's license.
