Honestly if you desire an English Bulldog, then possibly you have your reasons, and good ones as they might be please do what the young lady says in earlier answer, RESEARCH. I too wish to have an Eng. Bulldog but yes they are very expensive to maintain IE... a diva would be but an EB needs a lot of meds for ear mites, eye mites, they are very susceptible to colds and pneumonia, and they can get stomach viruses very easily, which includes a LOT of gas. they are 1 of the DIVAS of the dog world by those measures. If you are still interested contact some of the Vets in your area (since vets keep a close watch and, sorry, love to see them $$$$) and contact the rescues in town or pounds..

Before you purchase an english bulldog....PLEASE do a lot of research. I have one and she is a lot of trouble and work. Also very expensive to maintain. I love her with all my heart but if i would have known what i know now, i would have never bought her.

There is a peson in Klamath Falls Oregon that raises Bulldogs Her name is Lynda but that's all I know. My freind got a bulldog there and he is doing great. He is almost a champion.

i have two english bulldogs and never had a problem- they are great dogs. try using the bulldog rescue.
