It hit me around the age of 25, probably not what you were wanting to hear, but....... up until then life is all about growing up and finding yourself. Honestly if you settle down too early in life when you are still growing up and finding who you are, odds are that you may change in opposite directions and end up not being the person the other thought you would be. And by the way, it is true that you find the one you are meant to be with when you aren't really looking. I never believed that until it happend to me....now I'm married to him.

for me, i was 21
i have been single ever since (and that's exactly 2 years and 1 month)
my motto is "i would rather stay single, than go out with some gronk, just so that i can say i have a boyfriend"
unfortunetly tho, some of my fellow female species dont ever seem to get this....
that is why my bestest friend just got married for the second time a month ago (she is only 24) and the other friends are either unhappily married or stressed out being engaged supposedly for the "fun" of it.
if you know a chick that's like that (just goes out with boys so she can say she has a boyfriend then she is more than likely gonna stay in that same frame of mind for a very long time - if not forever.

Well most of them dont really grow up, until they are about 90. But to be kinda mature, and have a long term relationship, uhhhh...well i guess it depends on the girl and if she really is commited. I am 16, have been in a relationship for a year, and am getting engaged on my b-day. (October 24th) So I guess you just have to find the right one!!!!!!!

this is actually a good question for someone to ask. its rude how some of the girls replied to this question.
it just depends on how mature the girl is though. some 14yr old girls are more mature than some 18 yr old girls. it all depends on the girl, not her age.
the best way to avoid a bad relationship is to get to know a girl first before dating her. if she seems mature enough to handle a relationship then you should ask her out. friendship is an important key to maintaining a strong relationship

I think thats how it should be and thats why I am still single. I don't want someone just to say I have a boyfriend. Even if the first one is not the right one, I don't want to mess with their head if its just going to end in heartache. No one wants that.

Hate to break it to ya but it doesn't stop:( I know grown women who have gotten married just for the sake of getting married. They just wanted the house with the white picket fence, it had nothing to do with being mature or being in love.
Not all girls are like that though, just some:)

not all girls are like this. it depends on the individual and if she's this way then there's not really much u can do about it,it's her nature. probably when she finally finds someone who blows her away and she really falls in love with she will be prepared to settle down. if not, let her be.
