I catches your eye,
I lifts my glass,

It is said from one partner to another across a dinner table. I would like to know the rest. It was very special to my parent-in-laws and I think My husband would like to rediscover it.

be the worst of your future!"

Not exactly what your were looking for but a great toast, nonetheless.

This is the toast that I gave at my daughters 18th birthday. It still brings a lump to my throat, even though it is kind of corny.
May those that love us, love us.
And those that don’t love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if he doesn’t turn their hearts,
May he turn their ankles,
So we’ll know them by their limping
It holds true for any occasion and never lets me forget my child is now grown.

Get a different toast. One that will remind him of you instead of his parents.
ps( I hope you won't mind me saying this, but that toast just sounds like bad grammer.)
