The first thing you want to is file a police report. Second contact your credit card companies immediately(most have 24/7 customer service) and report that you lost your credit cards. third you will need to notify the credit bureaus and have them to put a fraud alert on your credit report. Fourth contact the ssa and immigration and let them know what is going on. Filing the police report is extremely important in the event someone else establishes credit in your name, this will be your proof that your wallet was lost and most credit card companies will want this proof. Good luck.

Do not listen or pay attention to those that wrote go back. Just call Social Security and tell them what happened and they will let you know the steps to take to get a new car.
Phone the credit card companies and inform them that you wallet was stollen and to cancel the old cards and issue you new ones- you will not be held accountable for the charges (if any) that the theif might have put on the cards.
Call the consulate-or embassy from the country you are from and tell them about the green card being stolen and they will tell you what steps you need to take. It would also help to call the US immigration department to expidite getting a new green card. These sorts of things happen all the time and are a hassle but can be fixed.
Call or go to a DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) office and get a new drivers license.
Good Luck!

Well, for the green card issue, I suggest that you contact your local immigration (INS) office ASAP, because they will probably be able to offer you better advice. And I believe you must keep that card with you at all times.
Go to:
http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/replace.htm#replace
They have information about that problem.
That's why you're not supposed to keep your social security card on you. It might mess up your credit history if an unethical person finds your SSN.
I'm guessing that you should contact your local DOL for information about losing your license. They may even provide this info online. Google your state DOL.

Call all your credit card companies and then go to the Vital Statistics Dept tomorrow where you were issued your social security card and inform them of the situation and apply for a new card.

Call the card company and have a hold placed on your acct. Call the DMV for details on replacement liscenes. Ditto w/ INS.

I say, first and foremost, you should report it to the authorities, If they got your green card , you are an Alien & whatb if you can get in trouble over it !

They won't do anything to issue new SS number unless there is suspicion (sp?) of illegal activity. Then they will investigate first.

Go back to where he came from?!?
