Canada has no such petition, it was just a suggestion by an Opposition Leader (Jack Layton).

There have been many mass demonstrations protesting the war. If Bush shows up in your town, people don't take that lighly.

I am a Canadian. Canada has troops in Afghanistan because our friend and ally was attacked from Afghanistan. Iraq is a US issue and it is up to Americans to determine US policy about Iraq. As much as we might hope that Americans do the right thing, Canadians should keep their noses out of US affairs that don't directly concern Canada.

No. Only the government the US congress and the senate can pressure the president to pull out of Iraq.

Not really. This would distract attention from the upcoming congressional race. Whether you want change or the status quo, this is the real mechanism of policy execution. Street rallies are not.

Because USA is big BOSS!!! Unless there will be another big boss, she will keep doing what she want... capturing other country resources(OIL), funding terrorist(Israel) and government(Mr. Musharraf, Pakistan) which support USA. No need to tell more.. you are wise enough to understand....
