I went out on a date two days ago and still no phone call. He did text message me after he dropped me off saying he had a good time. Although throughout the date there were awkward moments and sudden silences. What do you guys think?

He's just being polite by saying that he had a good time if what you said about awkward and abrupt silences is true. On the other hand, he might really have a good vibes about you and in any case, first dates are not always a good barometer of how the relationship will pan out in the long run. Give him up to a week to contact you again. If he wants to get out with you again, he will definitely call you again. I assume that since you are asking this question, you want to know him better too and not to just satisfy your curiousity.

How many messages did he sent you? Someone doesn't like making a phone call. But if he really had a good time, he can't help himself calling you every day since the date.

Well sometimes it's hard to tell, because he could have been shy, maybe he thinks u didn';t like him or maybe he lost ur number.
U should call him and ask whats up. And if it turns out that he don't want to go out again then end the call and realize he's not the ONLY GUY

If he hasn't called by now he's not interested. Sorry but I've been down that road, going on a date and knowing I wasn't interested and being nice and not wanting to lead the girl I simply didn't call her afterwards. Better that than breaking her heart and turning her into a man-hater and ruining it for all other men interested in her.

If he hasn't called by now, either he didn't have that great a time, in which case he isn't going to call at all, or he's waiting until Thursday to ask you out again Friday night.

Why do you wait for the guy to call you? You can call him instead. The reason he did not call is because he may be shy. If you are interested in him, then give him a call. If you keep waiting he may not call you at all.

well i think that fater a first date teh guys dhould call back the day after if he is intrested. then again all guys are diffrent. if he text you... its not that bad, but just test him back that u had a good time too. and wait till he calls you. if he doesnt hes an asshole.... move on.

if i have fun i usually call within two or three days, unless future arrangements are made at the end of the previous date, which is really the way to go as it really eliminates opportunity to call to soon or too late

It depends on the guy. It can be hours to a week. A week is pretty long though. 2 days is sometimes the 'norm'.
