I'm going to be unselfish and say that the guy (elpeecee) who said to get a picture of you and her daughter together in the limo and put it in a simple frame has hit it RIGHT ON, especially with a hand written note!!!! She will LOVE IT. I promise you!
ps give him the best answer vote. Great suggestion.

Well first of all it sounds like she appreciates you as the person you are so continue to be yourself. Try this first, send her a thank you card stating how very grateful you are to her for her friendship and what she has done for you . Make sure you get a real card. Not an email. Then if you have money take your friend and her/his mom out for dinner.

A handwritten note that expresses just what all of that meant to you. Something that would make her tear up and glad she did it.

'Thank you so much for being such a big part of a major milestone in my life. It makes me smile and cry to think about how beautiful it was..." things like that.

Then a nice bunch of flowers would be a delightful thank you. She doesn't want an expensive gift. She wants to know how wonderful it all was for you. Thank her by letting her know!

Good LUCK!

There must be a reason that she did all of this for you. I would guess that you have been very kind and sweet and respectful to her. I would continue that behavior, and be sure that you write a wonderful note to her and include a flower or scarf or something that you made by yourself. Continue the relationship and be thankful that you have someone quite wonderful in your life.

A hand written note and a photo of you and your friend in the limo in a nice frame would be a great thank you.

send her a beautiful bouquet of flowers and attach with a meaningful card appreciating her with her thoughtfulness and for being sweet for treating you that way.

i guess she is treating you as her own since she is your mom's friend. it was like an extension of friendship from your mom to her daughter. if she been knowing you all these years, i think its a nice gesture for her to share that beautiful moment among your family and friends.

i would have hug her tight and take a picture to commemorate your special day with a special friend together with your mom...

If you have money get her a gift certificate to get her nails or hair done at a local salon.
If she has smaller children offer to babysit sometime when she may need it.
Offer to help her with some errands she may not have time to do herself.
.............plus a heart felt card thanking her.
She sounds like a nice lady.

Aww! That was so nice of her! A hand-written thank you note does wonders. Nobody bothers with them anymore so it's extra-special when you get one! Maybe put a picture of yourself at the party, having fun, in there too.

If she is your friends mom then you are like her own child and if she did all this for you then I dont really think she wants you to repay her back, the only reason she did it is because she must care for you like you were her own. Just do what you are doing and be a good friend to your friend.
