Any soft-rock atheist songs out there someone could recommend?

Thanks!

You can probably find some soft rock stuff in the link above.

Greg Grafiin from Bad Religion has a folky sounding solo album out now that one might call soft rock.

(Soft Rock Freethought anthems)
John Lennon "Imagine"
Sarah McLachlan covering XTC tune "Dear God"

Here is some rap with overtly freethought lyrics.

Creator from Stratosfaction "Infidel"
MC Hawking

Dave Matthews. He is a self-proclaimed atheist or agnostic, can't remember for sure which one, and some of his songs definitely have some deeper meaning behind them concerning his religious belief. It could just be my own interpretation of certain songs, but either way it is good music so....

LOL! Um, I'm not sure...do we really have any specific topic or 'belief' to sing about? We don't use music to help reinforce our (non)beliefs like the religious do... Unless you just mean music by atheists, then it's hard to say. Since most aren't that open about their non belief it's hard to tell what artists are non believers.

Since most of the population believes in god, no band wants to antagonize most of the population by singing about atheism. Of course metal bands are they exception, they dont tend to follow the mainstream..

I'm sure you're not into hard-core underground punk either, but "Religious Vomit" by the Dead Kennedys is a pretty good song.

Why do you want it, I'm curious? Most popular music, although not overtly atheistic, is hedonistic and secular.

any music that does not mention God or any kind of religious believes. It depends how you understand it.
