there are some people that say oh i have children and these questions should not be ask online. i think we should be able to ask serious questions even if they are a little bit on the nasty side.Dont you think so or should we keep it bottled up inside.

I think yahoo answers and yahoo is a part and parcel of the media industry and i think they shud allow freedom of speech a place in their answer pages as some of my previous questions were even deleted for being a little taboo although i did not use foul language...and i think still this yahoo answers is living in the dead old past and they need to come out to the wider scope by at least allowing an adult page...tks for the valuable query...

I think all questions should be able to be asked and answered. Yahoo answers is still evolving, maybe at some point an adult area will be created?
For now, Level2 and higher users can rate questions and answers (thumbs up or down) as to how useful or useless they are to the Yahoo Answers community.
I enjoy some of the fun questions but really like the good, tough serious ones.

I think people should follow the rules set forth by Yahoo who owns the Yahoo Answers site. If you want to let out bottled up questions on the nasty side, go see a therapist.

I also agree that most all questions should be allowed, but there are some on here in EVERY CATAGORY who are out to shock others with their foul language . That is discusting . There is a way to ask a question even of questionable subject matter with respect for others . If we all do our part , this can be a great site to be a part of and have fun .
Let's be consideriate of others and continue to have a good time .

Well,in my case,yahoo answers were indeed helpful to me,and I was able to help out others,so I think it's a good thing to have stuff like this online as long as people are serious and sensable with their questions.

Yahoo answers is a great place to as questions. i myself have asked quite a few and its really good to get another persons opinion. that why i like the place so much, The parents who have kids and complain about some of the questions being asked, shouldnt even be in the category which they are cmplaining about. and if they are really that worried bout there kids seeing it, then they should just block that page so they can access it!

We have a freedom of speech. If someone doesn't like the question that is being asked, don't answer it. I like yahoo answers because you can get feedback from a lot of people with different opinions and backgrounds.

i think serious questions about serious topics should be addressed. discretion with language should be used because of the number of children in here.

As long as you are serious in your questions, please carry on. I have seen quite good and practical answers. of course there are some who aren't serious. Just ignore them. It's your choice.
