YES!!!Most definitely. Got one in San Diego. was doing the speed limit, and got it for not going as fast as the flow of traffic. Figure that! Friend got one at 3 am for not going actual speed in the far left lane (considered the fast lane)

Yes, you can be ticketed for driving too slow. You have to be driving within the speed limit in order to be driving safely. The police can ticket you for going as little as 5 miles under the speed limit, as that is considered to be impeding traffic.

There are speed limits for fast and slow. Specially in highways.
It is logical that if you go 2 miles per hour you will be going slower than the pedestrians. If you are going so slow you will be responsable for rush hours, mad drivers and even accidents.
A causious driver is not the slower, is the one that follows all of the driving laws and takes care of himself, other cars and properties and pedestrians.
DRIVE SAFELY!

As many have said yes you can. And like one other said check your local and state laws to find out, it is usually 15mph under on the highways. However in some cases, such as heavy trucks climbing or descending hills , it is recommended to use your hazard flashers if you are at or under the minimum speed limit.
And as for wowwhosth..., you and your friend completely deserved the citations you received. Learn how to drive properly and follow the rules.

Here in Texas, it's called " Impeding Traffic Flow". You can cause an accident because the person coming up behind you won't realize you're going to slow till it's too late.

Yes, in Georgia you can. Even on the freeway, if you are in the fast lane and going under 60 mph, you will get a ticket.

that is why highways have minimum posted speeds. When the 55mph first went into affect, there were some smart a$$es who blocked all three lanes by driving side by side and 55mph. They all got tickets for disrupting traffic.
