Try to talk him into taking DANCING lessons with you so you touch as part of what you're doing.

Otherwise, TELL HIM you feel awkward because you are tense.

If he said yes, you shouldn't be feeling uncomfortable. Hey! you did the first and most hard thing to do which was, asking him out!
Let him do the next and just relax and have more confidence in yourself. He likes you too, maybe he is feeling shy or "different" but it just takes a little to get used to it. Do whatever you feel don't force it.

Well just...uhhh...ask him to go to the movies with you.(a scary movie) That is the best place to make a move, because its dark, and you are by yourselves. When a scary part comes just kinda act scared and hold his hand. By then he will know that you really like him, and want the relationship to go further. Trust me this will work. I have tryed this on many guys!!! HaHa. Or if you are shy to do that, just call him up and tell him that you are kinda shy and want to hold his hand and stuff but dont know how to approch him. Either way, 1 of them should work...Good Luck with your man!

Just relax and enjoy the moment. Be you. Dont try to hard as it might change yourself and he might not like it. Its ok that u feel that way..it just the nervous feeling, as it ur crush..the one that strike ur eye..right..?
About who should make the 1st move..in my opinion..let that be man's job..if female makes the move..its some kind of reflect that how desperate we are..so show him the pride n let him know its difficult to win a womans heart..
As a qoute says..the best victory is when overcome the most difficult effort..
Good Luck girl

You should just take it slow and allow him to be the one to make the next move since you were the one that made the first move. Main thing is "take it slow" and don't sweat it. If you use your energy worrying about holding his hand, then you might miss having a great time and good conversation with him.

Maybe you really don't like him. Perhaps you were attracted to him because he was your crush and you played out these fantasies in your head and now that you have him in person, you feel awkward. It was better when he wasn't accessable but now that he is you don't know what to do. You have to go with your gut reaction, pack your bags and run for the hills if it's feeling this badly now before you get in over your head!

I usually feel the same way when I get into a relationship. I usually just let guys make the first move.

Just go with the flow and do what feels right.
Oh, and try not to put the word like in every sentence, otherwise he'll like dump you before you like get anywhere.

You are probably putting too much importance on your projected outcome of the date. You may be thinking that if you don't perform according to his expectations that he will be disappointed. Remove your expectations from your mind. go with the flow, & have fun. Dates are supposed to be fun, not life changing experiences.

Get a feeling about how he feels about you first or let him make the first move
