You need to see a dermatologist I guess cause I have no idea what you are talking about. It isnt old dirt.

There is an entitiy that exists,
As it is late at night I can't remember the name
But it is the darkening of the skin either at the back of the base of the neck, or in the arm pits
It is associated with diabetes and risk of it.
Ask a dermatologist or your FP about this skin condition.

You should go to your doctor. Don't take this the wrong way but it sounds like a fungal problem. You probably didn't do anything to cause it, but sometimes just changes in weather or in your sweat glands or your stress levels can cause it. They can usually treat it with a tube of ointment.

Sounds like it may be a skin problem. If it continues to be bothersome, ask your doctor to take a look. At the very least, it will put your mind at ease.

Ask your doctor. I have seen the patches on people when I did massage. One thing for sure, you're not changing color, just some discoloration. Check it out.
