In most cases, you don't wake up saying "omfg, i'm gay!". For a lot of people, it's just very natural to be comfortable to be around males or females, or even to find either attractive. If you think you're gay simply because you have feelings for someone of the same sex, then think back to if you've ever found any other person of that sex attractive. Sometimes, when you simply have a 'crush' on someone, it passes, and there are no other instances. Mostly, figuring out if you're 'gay' is a personal matter. it's all a matter of perspective. ^_^ Hope I didn't confuse you more!

If you are gay... you probably go to a bit of denial for quite some time, justifying yourself that you might be bisexual, pouring over biblical studies if you are religious; until some time when you are older, you knew that the attraction you felt is no kidding, and it is a wonderful feeling to have, and other things just fall into place.
Unlike some popular thoughts, gay people don't accept themselves that easily.
