I like this girl in my p.e class and i wanna ask her out but before that i wanna hang out wit her. So wouldnt it look kinda suspicious if i ask her for her phone number or land up in the same places where she is?

It's not suspicious, because you do want to give her little hints that you like her. Kinda like warming her up for it. Ask her out to hang out. It's the best thing to do.

hang out with her , its the only way youll find out if she likes u , its normal for guys to hang out with a girl there trying to get , i wouldnt think of it being suspicious or anything like that .

if this girl likes you too, she'll be happy if you pop up in the same places where she is. then, once you start hanging out a bit, ask her out. make her smile. wave at her in the halls. but be gentle, and don't come off as being a stalker, ok?

I would try just talking to her casually at school first and then after you become friends ask her to do something that just friends would do. And then slowly try to turn in into a relationship if you find that you still like her.

Go on a group date (bowling, movies, skating or whatever)....Get to know her a bit as a friend, then the awkwardness of conversation will ease......Give it time, dear.......

ask her if she would like to be friends or ask her if she wants to do something friends would do, like have lunch together, play a sport, walk home together, etc.
