one of my friends just asked me out! i like him AS A FRIEND not as as BOYFRIEND!! idk what to do i mean i dont wanna hurt him...plus its gonna we real awkard cuz he gets the same ride home as me and we go to the same church and youth group its gonna be real gay!! idk wat to do help!!!!
p.s i told him id think bout it for a day so i only have 24 hours to figure out what to do.

You need to tell him that you feel more comfortable around him as a friend and if you started going out things might get a bit awkward. You can't tell him something like, I don't want to risk our friendship because if he is your real friend... he'll understand and still be your friend afterwards. and when a girl says i don't want to risk our frienship, she comes off as maybe not wanting to be friends at all.

tell your friend that you really hold the friendship that the two of you shair dear and although you are flattered at the thought you dont want anything to break that bond that you guys have.
