i saw this question the other night where a woman asked if tieing her baby son to a high chair to eat dinner was child asbuse or not.of chorse,as like everyone else that saw the question....i was mad and angry.I spoutted off and gave my thoughts, reported the question to abuse(just in case it was true).then i got to thinking....what a great way to get points on here.she had 10 answers in 2 minutes.is it possible that just toss in a sour subject and pissed of people will get the for her points?

she doesn't get the points for best answer~the answer does. and she doen't get points for the question (she spent 5 to ask it) unless she chooses best anwer and then she only gets 3 points. no there are some people on here who don't have anything better to do than ask dumb questions that don't mean anything to anyone~BUT!!! there are also sick people who tie their kids to their high chairs so you probably did the right thing by reporting her.

It does sound like a profit in points were made.and the statement did bring about an arousal, and then again the are always those who threaten to turn people in foe asking such questions,Do you think you will ever meet that person in person some day and if so would you be able to tell them you were the one who reported then, I really wonder sometimes about the motives behind allot of this kind of talk.

well the kid should be strapped in, not tied up but if a kid can get out of his highchair then the restraints are not being used right. There is nothing wrong with making sure they are safe and making them stay there till the meal is over. I didnt see the wquestion tho. but yes many people put out questions just to get a rise out of us, and sadly, most of us bite and react. Maybe if we ignored them they'd go away!

totaly cracked
dfoing it for the points makes no sense ,it costs 5 points to ask a question and you only get 3 for chosing a best answer

I agree with you. There seem to be more and more outrageous questions designed to draw mass responses.

I don't know if that is true,,my sister in law glued earrings to my nieces ears,,,even thought they were pierced,,,with super glue so they wouldn't lose them.
