always the first thing you do is call 911,and they,ll send the necessary people to the scene,,and you should stay there to answer any questions they might have,,its actually against the Law to leave the scene if you seen the accident,,,the reason for this is ,if there,s a death in an accident they need all the info they can get,,and also they will say that if you had stayed till they got there it might have made a difference,,i know i found myself in this situation a few years ago,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

The first thing is ensure everyone is not hurt and if so immediately call for an ambulance. Secondly if you have a pen and paper, write down what you saw. You would be surprised what you can forget in a few minutes during a traumatic situation as seeing a car accident involving a personal injury

Most people want to stop and render aid, but are afraid so they don't. If you are involved in a crash, what would you want a witness to do for you. Remember common courtesy goes a long way and who knows you might become a hero someday. Some crashes involve persons driving while under the influence and they tend to flee, so if you're a witness, you can help the police with a description of the car, it's license plate number, color and a description of the driver if seen can help a lot.

Yes you should call the police at once and if any one looks hurt you tell them they need to send an ambulance then wait to the police gets there so you can give the a statement on what happened.

That's a tough one. Was it a single car accident? Was there property damage? Was it a hit and run? If so.. Did you get their license plate #? Calling the Police is never a bad idea, but Cops make me nervous so I normally just go about my business unless someone is in serious need of medical attention.

pull over--check to see if everyone is ok or hurt--then ask them if they want you to call the police or if the police have already been called. Stick around as a witness if you have witnessed the whole accident.

Call the police first and ambulance if needed. I usually give my name and address to the person who WAS NOT at fault. By doing this we actually helped a lawsuit for a man who DID NOT cause the death of a motorcyclist. The motorcyclist's wife was suing the man claiming that he hit her husband. The man did not hit the motorcyclist. Enough of us came forward and we saved the man from a very damaging lawsuit.

If it's a serious accident and/or you know first aid, pull over (if it's safe) and offer your assistance. Yu should not worry about pulling over for minor fender benders. However, if you see somone driving dangerously, report them to the local law enforcement agency.
