I lived in Toledo for 25 years in the west side and can honestly say that to get a good car for $800 ain't gonna happen. Unless you take a trip down to the east side and hit up some of the chop shops lined along the maumee river or find a crack head willing to sell his old car for some money to buy crack then unfortunately my friend you are out of luck. That's just my personal opinion. That and just keep an eye out for the auto listings every sunday in the Blade. Good luck!

Is there such a thing as a good car for $800 dollars. If it was a good car it would cost more, you get what you pay for. If you find one you better look it over really well, something has got to be wrong with it. Good luck

I don't know. But if you can, use it to get out of Toledo, Ohio. It will be the best thing that ever happened for you.

certainly... check your local paper and trader's publications. I live in Fort Wayne and good running beaters are all over the place (in the right areas)
