I quit seven years ago. You gotta be tough. Don't let the smokes win.

You'll be an idiot. That's what I always hear. "I quit for 20 years, and then, like an idiot, I started again." They always say they're an idiot. So, that's how stupid it is.

You're probably at the point where it's hardest, a few days in. Realize that, and stick with it, or you'll have to go through this AGAIN.

I've heard that sealing cigarette butts in a coffee can, adding some water, letting it mildew sealed in a dark corner, and then sniffing it will kill a nic fit.

Good luck!

Your VERY stupid if you light up again.

I know it is difficult. I quit smoking 14 years ago after smoking for 25 years.

Your stronger then the cigarette and tell everyone you know that you quit. If your a person of honor and of your word. You can't go back to remain honorable.

Get some nicoten gum...it worked for me to take off the edge.

It's a tough thing to do but just remember it's all a mind set. Find something else that fills the time of smoking. Find friends or support groups who will help you go through it. Some people find that chewing gum helps out but for some the gum doesn't work.

If you quit a few days ago, you know how stupid that would be. Just keep off them for about another week and you will be fine. It just takes a while for the system to get accustomed to not having that nicotine.

Truth be told pretty stupid if you smoke another cigarette...but a good thing you're trying to quit...just stick it out and probably get one of those patches or gum to help through this tough decision.

It's really not a question of stupidity, although I understand what you mean... Try thinking of it more as a matter of survival and helping your loved ones (present and future) to NOT have to grieve your early death due to lung or throat cancer... Substituting with sugarfree lollipops or chewing gum may help... Your body will crave the nicotine for awhile... Wait it out... Find something that helps to take your mind off it...

Do you have a stupid scale you are referencing or something? Put your thumb in your mouth and suck, the nic fit will pass.

stupid, but it's your choice. Studies show i think that it takes an average of 7 times to quit smoking. my boyfriend quit twice and now is done. Try your hardest... every time you fall off you have to start all over. Be STRONG!!! so much better for your health

Sticking to your commitment shows real character. Having another cigarette shows lack of character. Be the big man.
