i live near a populated hasidic jewish town, and, my friend and i were doing a fun little social experiment [were sociology minors], and long story short, we came to the conclusion that, maybe their jealous, or alittle envious?! Is that true?!

[my friend & i are catholic and have nothing against the jewish culture!]

They are not jealous, they try not to associate or get close or be in touch with "Americanized woman" because they try to educate their families and kids in a special way and they don't want them to be a bad influence on their way of life.

Maybe you came up with the wrong "conclusion". Hasidic women and Catholic women are miles apart in many ways. They may have seemed threatened by you but that is because they are very religious and feel uncomfortable around non Jewish women. I really doubt they are jealous. You must explain how you came to that conclusion.

You're the ones doing the experiment, do you expect to get credit by letting someone else do the research for you? I hope you use a spell checker as well as a proof reader before turning in your work!
