My friends, and my siblings friends who have had babies in the past 3-4 years have had boys, and I recently saw something on news about more boys being born vs. girls.

That statistic is not correct in Western Countries. In the US it is still 101 girls per 100 boys, France is 103 per 100 and Australia is 104 per 100. However in the world's two most populated nations India and China an effort has been underway to control population. Due to the culture of these two countries, most families are choosing to have a boy to carry one the family name.

I don't know but it's true when i had my baby I was in the hospital for three days There was only one girl baby in the whole place. She was born before i got there and no new baby girls where born then. It's crazy cuz evolutionary there should less men then women (a man could spread his seed to many women but a woman can only carry one man baby at a time so it would make more sense that there would fewer men then women.) I don't know maybe some one thinks we have enough babies.

Little boy. Although, I couldn't imagine having only one child, whether I had to adopt more. I'd want a boy b/c I love that mother/son relationship. I'd be the first woman in his life ;). Plus, I've heard little boys are easier than girls. I'm not saying I'd pick the easier way out though, boys have their own problems and challenges. And on top of that, I have more boys' names picked out than girls. ♦ Hollis Frederick (but that could change) My grandfather's name is Freddy, so in order to honor him I chose Frederick. My grandfather is my favorite person in the whole wide world. He has a great sense of humor and made a name of himself even though he started with nothing. He is inspirational and such a Godly influence. I love him oh so much :)

i myself have two boys and i have heard that enviromental conditions such as where the father works may effect the sex of the baby. I have also noticed that some families tend to run really high in one gender or the other. Although this may all just be co-incedence. I also read an article in the paper that girls are becoming more beautiful while males stay at the same standards of looks hope that helps :)

I think it is definitly true. I am having a girl, but most people are having boys. I don't know why. Maybe because for the last ten years it was an increase in girl births and... maybe the world is evening itself out between the genders???

I have heard when more boy babies are born, we are in, or about to be in a war. I don't know if thats fact, but odd and scary to think that could be true.

Mom of 2 boys.

I have no idea. Maybe we need more baby boys to balance out things.

nah I think it's just random. But thats my personal opinion. you should try to check your city/town population census. when you send in your census they ask the age of everyone living in the house. Its worth a try
