I believe in a G-d who exempifies the model of trial and error (read the flood narrative), this G-d (who is neither male nor female) made man and saw that he was good, but not great. So after a bit of thought back on the drawing board decided to improve man, so woman was made. And G-d saw that that this time there was perfection.

I consider this a good serious question OK. I will answer it as such.
I find the root words for woman in the dictionary says it means taken out of man. Now of course humankind did write the dictionary [in the English language for that is what I used]. I will not speculate if it was all by the male unit alone.
I deep truth I guess one must resolve this issue by his or her own belief system. Some see Creation and others see evolution. I do have difficulty to se3e how two distinct sexes could evolve at the same time that are necessary to unite to continue the species, but that was not your question.
In my view I do accept the account in the Bible that says Woman was taken out of Man by God. Remember that is my view and other do reject it but that is just fine with me. They can have their own view.
I do not see this to degrade woman. I see wonam as a unique special unit that is necessary for without woman there could be no more mankind or sons of man after the first man died. Ha Ha No way to replace him without a woman.
See how important a woman is. Like it or not the woman is the dontroller of the future of the very exostence of man. Kinda an important roll to me OK
Now you just think about that but do not get too big of a head because of it. A smile will be just fine OK
Now with that do have a good day knowing that there is just no man who can be as pretty as a woman. They told me a girl was made out of everything nice and sweet but a boy was made out of frog, etc. Is that true?
Have a good day OK.
P.S. Is it not kinda nice to know that Heaven is just waiting for the woman to arrive there anxiously?

The scriptures tell us that men wrote the Bible, but the author behind them was the Holy Spirit.
2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Why not read what the Holy Spirit authored in Genesis?
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Well, God did explain in detail how worship is supposed to be done - but this does not mean He favors men.

Woman came from Man. She is not to lead Man, but to help him. Be a companion to him.
But Man is the Leader, it is God's order in the Home, and in The Church.
