Are we going to pollute the world enough to destroy life on this planet or are we going to nuke ourselves out of existence first?

The sad part of this question is that the two options you listed are basically mutually exclusive. One or the other is bound to happenin the somewhat near future. That stinks majorly.

I believe that we will nuke outselves before making the environment on Earth unliveable. The reason is that nukes can accomplish the same outcome in such a smaller amount of time than pollution, so it's probably more likely for that to happen first.

However, global warming + dimming increasing and making each other more violent is definitely increasing the rate at which its development is occuring. So that makes it possible that that will kill us first, since we don't have to do anything different than what we're doing now for that to happen. For nukes to kill us, we need to nuke somebody and start a nuclear war. For pollution to kill us, we need only continue what we're doing.

Very interesting question.

Pollution will do most of the work and nukes will finish us off.

I believe that a nuclear Holocaust will happen. With all the wars, and all the foreign nuclear issues...its highly probable...marshmallows anyone?

Both could be a possibility. But anything is possible.
Including a good life. It will take change to make our lives safe and well.
