I think some people lose their faith because they fail to see what Heaven has given them. They do not understand the daily gifts received each time you wake up or get to spend an extra minute with your children or a loved one. People are looking for more than they need. Therefore they are never satisfied with what they have.

If you lose your faith that means you did not really believe in the first place, if a supreme power is in your heart and you know that man did not create everything you see then you can not lose that, you may doubt it but a true believer never loses all of his faith. When bad things happen we may not understand it at the time but I believe there is a reason and some higher source is guiding us.

I think people loose their faith because of the world we live in. There is so much sorrow and suffering here. And this world is not even close in comparison to Heaven. Far from it.

I see it that people loose their faith, because they didn't have strong faith to begin with.If your faith is strong enough you can withstand the worst things and if your weak its hard and some lose faith. But it isn't because of their veiw of heaven. It's because they were weak and not well educated. And something made them disagree with their faith

This is a good question - but I would be hard to say that Heaven showed to little.

Neither. I think people struggle with faith because life is difficult.
I believe that God gives only as much as we can handle. We just have to hold onto that.

Neither, they lose their faith because they realize that heaven doesn't exist.

i lost my faith because heaven promises too much... it just shows the inner instinctive desire of humans to quench their unquencheable greed for happiness, money, power and to live forever. not to mention to satisfy their need to torture their enemies for eternity.

Both.
Too little = no concrete and reasonable proof.
Too much = the mountian of flawed "proof" found in religious text.
