Get a CHI or a Wigo with a temperature control. CHI's run about 130.00 to 200.00 and wigo runs around 85.00. Chi claims to have a solid ciramic plate and Wigo has an overlay. Both are very good

The truth is the more expensive the iron the better the quality. I used to have this one i bought for 20 bucks and it was completely ****.... i would suggest to you to get one thats just a straightener and nothing else becuz they are usually better. My parents bought mw one that is $75 and its very good. But if you want something else there are ones that you can switch the temperature to how much u need it. depending on the thickness of your hair, but that would probably cost way more.
Good luck

I have a ceramic. Its a Remington Wet 2 Straight.
Its good but it doesn't get your hair STICK STRAIGHT. It looks "naturally straight." I guess you'd call it that. I got it for somewhere under 20 bucks at Target. :)

The best one is chi they are worth the money.also if its not in your price range try using a flat iron spray .You spray on your hair before you iron it it helps make it staighter.
