for future use.....Before you drink, make sure you are well hydrated. Before you go to bed after drinking, make yourself something to eat, like scrambled eggs and toast. have with tea or coffee. Then pop two Tylenol. Works for me every time.
If your are really hungover, coffee and two Tylenol. Then drink water and juice.

A hangover is caused by a combination of many things. Dehydration is a factor, but there are others. Alcoholic drinks lower your blood sugar, and a massive quantity of alcoholic drinks can make for sustained low blood sugar into the next day. The symptoms of a diabetic having a hypoglycemic (caused by low blood sugar) attack are similar to the symptoms of a severe hangover: weakness, hunger, agitation, difficulty concentrating, fatigue, blurred vision, confusion, etc. A third factor is a chemical called acetaldehyde, which is a by-product of your body breaking the alcohol down and digesting it. Acetaldehyde acts like a nasty drug in and of itself on your brain, making for a headache and an inability to think clearly. Also, if you drank enough to cause a hangover that means that you were peeing all night, which means that many of the minerals that your nervous system requires to function correctly have been depleted.
SOLUTION: Water for the dehydration. Fruit juice followed by complex carbohydrates to readjust your blood sugar. Cystine (available at health food stores, easiest to find on the internet though) for the acetaldehyde. Emergen-C or another mega-vitamin boost for the mineral depletion (make sure to take something that has magnesium and potassium). And, finally, get your hands on a homeopathic remedy called Nux Vomica. You have to go to a healthfood store or alternative pharmacy that has a homeopathic section to get them. Take them while you're drinking to help avoid a hangover or the next day to help cure it. It helps your cells get rid of the chemicals (like acetaldehyde, probably others that I'm not aware of) that alcohol leaves behind. Works wonders!

Can't really get rid of it. Hangovers are caused by the tannins in the drink. That is the things other than water. You can get them out of your system a little quicker by drinking water. Also you can try to get your body to metabolize them but it sucks to do that. The only way to increase metabolism quickly for a short period is work out. So to get rid of hangover, drink water and run 5 miles.

You'll feel better by then. The best cure for a hangover is time, crackers and sleep. But one sure way to get rid of one is not to drink so much that you get one in the first place!!!

A hangover is a result of dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids preferably without alcohol (!) or caffeine. Consider something like Pedia-light type drinks given to children to prevent dehydration. They taste foul but will help restore your system more quickly.

Rehydrate. Also, take a multi-vitamin or drink some pediatelyte and/or Gatorade. And time, lot and lot of time. I typically try to drink water after drinking, before going to bed. Same thing with the multi-vitamin.

I don't know if you eat Mexican food or know where to get it, I guess it just depends on where you're from, but you should try eating some menudo with lots of homony and lemon. it should make you feel better as soon as you're finished or a little bit afterward. it's just an old family remedy, but it usually works for most people I know. it won't hurt to try it. let me know if it works for you ;)

Drink lots of water, if at all possible swim or soak in a hot tub (it will help remove toxins from your body). Drink a hair of the dog that bit you, but only one or two at max.
Shhh....

Also, try eating Lays potato chips.
