I'm just trying to figure out why I'm feeling so nauseated right now. This is the first day in my life that I'm not high. Last night, I smoked only one bowl of weed, then went to bed and woke up feeling shaky, my pulse feeling faster, and my stomach is gonna jump out of my mouth soon. I usually smoke 5 bowls or 3 joints before bed, and only god knows how much I smoke during the day, but today has been absolutely clean.....and I feel like sh*t.

I've never thought in a million years, that smoking weed has withdrawl symptoms, but please tell me what you all know about it. Thanks

You would probably freak out if you broke up with a girl friend. Does that mean girls are addictive? Wait! Don't answer that! I don't want to know!

I never had any symptoms when I stopped and I smoked it regularly for over ten years.

It is not physically addicting so there should be no withdrawl symptoms.

Keep up the good work. I'm pulling for you!

Weed isn't physically addictive but it can be very psychologically addictive in some people. Your symptoms are almost certainly mostly psychosomatic. Just knowing that can help somewhat. You many need some assistance in getting and staying weed-free. Some people have addictive personalities and this can make it more difficult to break the habit even when physical addiction isn't a factor.

there are no physical withdrawl symptoms except insomnia, and psychological withdrawal (feeling the need to smoke). you did smoke quite alot though, so you may experience some anxiety or mental discomfort for a few days. otherwise your body should be just fine, and improving from not smoking. you might cough up a bunch of resin or black crap as your lungs start to heal if you are quitting

Yes. Not only irritability but I also get dizzy a little about 3 or 4 days after stopping. I've smoked almost everyday for the past 11 years so maybe there is an effect on some people.

Stick with it. It is physical as well as psychological. We used to believe that pot had no physical withdrawal symptoms, but fortunately we now know that is not true. Please go to the hospital if you do not feel better soon. You can dehydrate, have hallucinations, and have a horrendous set of flu-like symptoms. You made a wonderful choice to quit. Good luck to you.
