Your trying to burn copywrited material, the copywrite is there to protect it from pirates like you.

I have heard that there are other software programs that you can use to image the DVD and then use nero to burn it.

you need to get something else other than nero that burns everything

no all you need is a program that gets rid of the copyright. ANYDVD is a good one and you can try it for free before ya buy it:)

your probably using windows right?

has alot to do with microsofts pressure for companies to use dma in their software.
