I took some movies from my friends hard drive and its a main folder, with plenty of sub-folders within. I can't seem to figure out how to play the movie. Does anyone know how? or is there a program to download to use? Could anyone who knows how to also paste the hyperlink for whatever program i need to download here? thanks!

A free program for playing videos of varying formats is called Video LAN, or VLC. It can be downloaded from the below website. It works quite well.
