I think it makes good sense but I guess Jews and Muslims in the middle east disagree.

I think your answer is too easy to say but impossible to implement. Can you tell all Christians and Jews to throw away their faith?

No, it doesn't make good sense, because religion is only one of the causes behind the violence in the Middle East. You are missing the nationalist angle entirely. But I can't say that I blame you. The militant factions of both sides choose to wrap their secular, nationalistic conflict in religious jargon.

It will never work. Too much serious spiritual stuff has happened there for any person to say "just forget all this crap!". It is an unrealistic plan.
