As an experienced hair stylist I would say yes after about 2 weeks when the hair has had a chance to retain the bond. Thats if you mean re-bonding in the definition of changing the bonds. The cutical layer remains open and week and vonerable to the elements. The hair will relax about thirty % after a couple of weeks if curled and a relaxer takes about two weeks to strengthen after flatenning the bonds after the cuticle is sealed . Oils have a tendancy to soften the hair in the beginning and reverse the bonds. This is from experience. a way to test the strength of your hair is cut a strand and stretch it and if it dous not bounce back or if it sstretches too much then do'nt use oil , use protien to strengthen the cuticle layer and seal it with a light detangler.
