I have a pretty bay window in my kitchen. The middle window is 45 wide and 45 long, and the windows on either side are 25 wide by 25 long. My cabinets are ivory, and my walls are a sage green. I need privacy as the window faces north and directly toward my neighbor.

I would like to make Roman Shades, but have never done so before. Any tips/advice on making them, or suggestions for other treatments? Thanks!

JCPenny has a shade that you can either lower from the top or the bottom, it is a pleated shade. You can check out their web site and see if you can find them. You could also put up a 24" curtain where you could see over the top but no one could see in.

I easily have a bay window in my mattress room and had an same capture 22 difficulty. i did not prefer to smash the outstanding thing about the window yet wanted privateness. I easily have separate vertical blinds in each and every window and a scarf window remedy. i found it fairly works nicely. i in basic terms open the hues contained in the morning and save them open all day. attempt to have you ever fixtures demonstrate the window also. it facilitates plenty. with each and every of the hot sorts of blinds there are i'm positive you'll come across extra acceptable blinds on your position then vertical blinds.

My suggestion will only fit if you have a certain outdoorsy decor... I have Norway Pine garland as my window treatment. I have added some big pine cones to make it even more realistic... It is amazing !!!

If I were you I would make an herb garden out of it and use very simple swag curtains.
