Your question was "If you believe in a god then why do you compromise with those who don't?"
As an atheist, I can undoubtedly say that there is no god and I would not compromise that. Why would a thesis compromise?

We use this forum the same way people who believe in religion do: to make our views known. Sometimes we have opinions on religious issues because like it or not, religion is a part of our world and we like to express our opinions. I like this forum because I hope to make people think.

I felt that my answer was relevant to your question. You were asking about atheists and theists, right?
Hmm, guess I won't get the 10 points on that one, LOL.

Perhaps because your question was phrased in such a way (intentionally or not) that it provoked a response? What the hell did you mean by "compromise"??

She apparently thought it was relevant to her situation and chose to question you about what you meant. I don't see why you would have a problem with that.
