As an atheist, I can undoubtedly say that there is no god and I would not compromise that. Why would a thesis compromise?

We use this forum the same way people who believe in religion do: to make our views known. Sometimes we have opinions on religious issues because like it or not, religion is a part of our world and we like to express our opinions. I like this forum because I hope to make people think.

She apparently thought it was relevant to her situation and chose to question you about what you meant. I don't see why you would have a problem with that.
