It's not always about the Ins. claim/money.
In this day & time doctors have taken on to many people to service. We have b/c like cattle to alot of doctors. It's that doctors don't care & listen anymore.
Don't down grade yourself to their level(chewing them out). If you feel your being treat wrongly-LOOK for another doctor. I walked around w/a brain tumor 12 years, b/c doctors didn't listen. I finally found one that did.

I've never walked out of a doctor's appointment because when I do make an appointment, it is because I have a very serious or urgent medical problem. I give the doctor the benefit of the doubt because you never know what can or will happen with medical problems. Some people go to the doctor thinking they have a little problem and it turns out they have a very serious problem. For example, I had been waiting for half an hour to see my eye doctor. The previous patient was in the midst of a routine eye exam when the doctor saw by looking into his eyes, this poor old guy was about to have a stroke. She was trying to persuade him to have someone take him to the hospital and he was having no part of that. Finally the man's wife convinced him to go to the emergency room. I learned that day that an eye doctor can tell plenty about a person's overall health simply by looking at and into an eye. Then I am a very patient and tolerant person when it comes to doctors appointments. Maybe that comes from growing up with a mom that was a nurse.

I just relocated to GA, 700 miles away from where I am from and my TRUSTED doctors. I had an appointment at 2pm I was there a half hour early (being a new patient and all) I finally went back into the room at 3:30!!! Sat there for another 30 mins before someone came in and told me he just left, he had an emergency. She proceeded to pull the extender on the table up so I could "get comfortable' while I waited. Mind you it is now 4pm and they were expecting me to wait longer!!!! I told her No I had to go. She then asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I told her no I am going to find a new Doctor!!!! I left there LIVID!!!

What makes you imagine he's billed on your walk in appointments? he's not, your provincial medical amenities Plan is charged for those visits the picture of the different physician visit. Frankly, he couldn't care a lot less in case you bypass elsewhere, feels like he's busy adequate without your organization. i might want to contact your Provincial medical plan. i do not trust he can carry your archives, regardless of in case you owe for the neglected visit. to collect on that visit, he will actually ought to demonstrate info of the neglected appointment.

Lots of times. I never walked out though -- on the theory that making another appointment would involve even more time. Once I was kept waiting for 40 minutes. Yeah, like my time isn't important. It costs me money too. It would be nice if doctors acknowledged that fact.

Send them an invoice for your time.
A guy in Las Vegas did that and then sued them for failing to pay (bilateral contract was underlying theory). He won in small claims court.
I find it gets their attention when you also reference notifying the medical licensing board and their malpractice carrier. You won't be waiting on the next appointment.

Absolutely! I cannot stand waiting. I don't understand their appt. procedure. I think they schedule every 15 min. or else they wouldn't make $.
