I agree. The vatican is preety arrogant and this certainly was a rare thing.
We all know what they did or didnt do during World War 2 when Pope Pias the 12th, also known as, "Hitlers Pope," didnt do a damn thing to help.

The Pope basically said that Islam is evil.

The Muslims then rioted and killed a nun.

The Pope should NEVER have apologized.

He stated a fact that the Muslims immediately proved to be true beyond any reasonable doubt.

What's with this apology stuff. When a guy tells the truth about something said that happened years ago and you don't like it, will an apology go back in time and erase the statement.

This is childish stuff, "mama he's calling me names" stuff.

When you don't like history, you can always take out your sword and do some cutting but you will find it's still history.

The pope wasn't rude. Do you just take the sound bits and run with them? You should really read the whole story.

No, if he had apologized, I would have been very disappointed. What did he say to apologize for? He certainly was not rude. If he had said something negative, most of you guys could not have understood it, since you do not understand what he DID say.

All the pope said is "I am sorry that you idiots are too stupid to differentiate between a academic quote from someone else and my personal belief. Get a life."

He said nothing rude. He was merely pointing out fact. His apology was for the people who couldn't understand and accept what he was saying.
