My fiance buys me flowers sometimes. It isn't because he doesn't care, it is that he knows that flowers die...what is the point of getting flowers if they only last a couple of days anyway. Sure, it is a nice gesture but wouldn't you rather have something a little more substantial? Once, he bought me a fake flower and said that it symbolized his undying love for me because it would never wither away like a real flower. That was almost 9 months ago and that flower is still in my car on my dashboard...and it looks exactly like it did the day that he gave it to me.

Yes, my man buys me flowers, he buys them for just because days, no real reason other than he wanted me to have them. When our baby was born (at 6 1/2 months) he brought me a dozen of the most beautiful red roses I had ever seen. He buys me a single flower at least once a week.

My boyfriend never bought me flowers. I wouldn't want them anyway. What's the point. I'd rather chocolates, or a good bottle of wine, or a CD I like. Flowers are useless, and I don't care about the symbolism attatched. I know he loves, for now anyway, and that's all I want.

Mine has been buying me flowers for years. I told him to quit buying me 1/2 a gift. Once it dies what do I do with it?

I really don't like flowers sent to me since I see them as token gifts. I would rather have my guy treat me with respect, look adoringly into my eyes, help me cook and laugh with me etc......show his Love with being with me. If I feel the need to have flowers...........I can buy them myself! See, this is where you get to when you are middle-aged. You see that all this kind of stuff that you young girls want is meaningless in the big scheme of things.

Used to be all of the time, until I mistakenly mentioned it was a waste of money to do it so often. The for a few years none, but on our fifth wedding anniversary I got five of the most beautiful roses ever, EVER.
P.S.Don't make the same mistake I did.

Only once when we first started dating. He sent them to my work It was really nice.
We try not to "buy" each other things as much as just spend the money on going places that we can enjoy together.
