Flu and coama?

I have friend that had the flu a couple of days ago and she fainted and known she's on life support can anyone tell what would cuase this . Her farther has had this happend to hom bout 3-4 week s ago .
She's also in a coama

She was diagnosed with influenza, or she felt like she had the flu?

Influenza can be a lot worse than people seem to understand, but in order to find out how your friend is doing, and what caused it, and whether or not it is contagious and you may be at risk, you'll have to ask her next of kin, not a bunch of Yahoo!s.

Not even an expert in infectious disease could answer that question with so little information.
