Maybe he gave us the benefit of doubt and he hoped we would use the minds we have before we did something we were told not to. Maybe he trusted us

Interesting theory,,,
Imagine you are a creator of worlds.
Now let's say you have a desire for people to experience it.
You go and ask some freinds to test it out.
They don't know how you did it, but think it is very cool.
You tell them this, you can check it out while in spirit and not be attached, but IF you decide you want to play and learn wht I have presented before you, you can do this.
---NOW-- We have Satan's role played out in full
Satan says, you want to see this world as it was meant to be seen?
How god WANTS you to see it, to fully experience it and have emotion.
Take a bite of the energy source called an apple. This source will make you dense enough to experience this place.
Satan made them curious enough to want to play the game my freind.
We are not sinners like you may think. I am sorry, really, christianity isn't all bad and has truth but please, it isn't the only way back home.
Peace friend, love eternally

I am not a christian but i do believe in jesus and i admire him the most, ok i think god previusly knew what was going to hapend so he still created lucifer o satan, because we need satan so we can know god, and so we can learn. I think humans are not prepared to learn by an easy way so we must learn in suffering so in fact satan serves god. I think that he knew Adam and Eve were going to listen to the serpent beacuse of greed of knowledge and it was not a lie, but for that knowledge we must live here on earth so we can experience and learn from our mistakes, and get over our fears and our own evil, if we defeat our own evil and we are tempted by satan and we pass that we get to really know god, so in fact satan serves god in the way that he makes us better by putting suffering and problems on the world... who would know compation if there was no sufferin?

Satan was an essential part of God's plan for His children. There needs to be opposition in all things. Without the opposition then we have no agency, no choices to make, no growth or learning on our part. In the original war in heaven, Lucifer wanted to be our savior and bring everyone of us safely home. This would take away our agency, no choices, no failure. That was not God's plan. Lucifer was rejected. He was cast out to the earth to provide temptations for us so that we could choose the good from the evil. Only in that way can we learn from our choices and mistakes. God then provided a Savior, Jesus, to atone for our mistakes, sins, so that we can be spiritually cleansed to return again to his presence.
Is it sorrowful to see His children making mistakes and following evil from time to time? Sure it is, but it is part of the plan for our eternal growth and development.

As a Christian I think what we so often forget is that we are Spiritual beings - we are only of this world in a flesh time frame. When we have questions regarding what is that of Spirit then we should ask Christ in Spirit for those answers. Without being of Christ and in his Spirit, then we cannot begin to allow the Holy Spirit to give us truth answers. Nothing we can conjure up in our minds will ever be close to what God intends or intended - our thoughts are not his thoughts and our ways are not his ways. To assume, as many questions seem to do here, that we can derive logical or understandable answers of a God, that is a Spirit, is to overstep our human ability and to deny what it is we are to have faith in.

Read your Bible. God has given everyone a free will to choose to do as they want. Lucifer, or satan as he is known today, made the choice to try to exalt himself above God. However, he failed and God threw satan out of heaven.

that's true about the time thing. I see what you're saying. I think that Satans temptations and God knowing the outcome is all for us individually to grow in our relationship with God. Maybe we aren't really tested, since he knows what we are going to do, it just happens for us to realize how much God really is involved in everything. Basically, for us to grow in Christ. For us to know about God. This is hard to explain, but I think it is all for us! A faithbuilder for us!(as I ramble and say the same thing over and over again)

That is the very reason He sent His gift of the Holy Spirit.. to teach you all things, even the deeper things of God.. you are trying to rationalize and not allowing your mind to open up to things from a higher level. It has been promised you and will teach you, when you are ready to receive. That is where I would suggest you spend some time dealing with. It is not that difficult.

If God created everything, why did he create Satan? I think it's good that you are asking questions. The more I asked, the more I realized that there were no good answers. Atheism makes so much more sense to me.

God is a sadistic voyeur who likes to watch. So without evil there is no good and vise versa. What other type of being could create all these awful thigs or let them be created. It only can be figured that he likes watching.
