I have a three year old 110 lb Rott. She is a sweet heart and I love her but, she is oozing all over the house. Like i said she is coming out of heat, and is not bleeding anymore, but a clear liquid is coming out when ever she lays down. It is so disgusting and it smells so bad. I have taken her to the vet for this, thinking that maybe she has a blater infection. The results came back negative. I know that it will stop in about a week but in the mean time my house stinks, there are spots all over my furniture and carpet... Does anyone know what this is? We are getting her spaid next month.

I will make sure she was tested for the pyometra. The vet did tons of tests on her a few months ago, but i will make sure that is one of them. Thank you
And I have tried to do the diaper thing she won't keep them on.

I don't know what the "stuff" is that is leaking out of your dog. you can buy doggie diapers for female gods in heat. they look like a childs pull up with a space for the tail to poke out. I have seen them at stores like petSmart, and pet valu. I hope this helps.
P.S. it is very responseable of you to stay your pet GOOD JOB!!!

If the discharge is really foul, are you sure she's not got a uterine infection? Not sure what to do about the smell...maybe a good air freshener? (Eucalyptus or orange oil is good!)

Good to hear that you are having her spayed, anyway. You're doing the right thing by her- no uterine infections, no ovarian tumours, no puppies!

warmth cycles variety from canines to canines, some can very last 3 weeks some might want to be 4 -6 weeks, for the first a million-2 weeks they leak a sparkling liquid and for the perfect 2/3 weeks they bleed, i imagine its from dy eleven that a lady will conveniently settle for the male for mating, the bleeding is in a lot of circumstances the first signal proprietors get of there canines being in warmth, yet for sure they have been in warmth for a million/2 weeks already as a results of sparkling liquid, its not something to agonize about tho can be a discomfort even as your out and each and every of the lads are desiring slightly lol, my woman greyhound has a each and every year season and that i have male gray also entire yet I easily haven't any PLANS to get both fixed, why might want to i i no the position all my canines(i actually have a yorkie)are even as she is in warmth and they don't look enable out of my sight the entire time..even at mattress time, all of them sleep upstairs so might want to my male gray settle on he needs slightly i listen before he has possible to mount her lol, seasons variety also , it would want to be each and every 6-8months or each and every year (like my gray).. you receives posts on the following sying nasty stuff and thay u might want to get them spayed and so on yet dont be bullied or sense undesirable about having an entire canines , i dont xxxx

you can buy doggy diapers for her at pet supplies stores. theyre about 5$. you have to buy doggy pads to put inside them though. we found you can just use regular people pads inside the diaper-- its waaaay cheeper.
