receive a spanking.....These are not beatings, just regular spankings but it has happened to me several times and is very embarrassing, especially after age 12 and the kids in the neighborhood and at school tease me about it, especially the girls!...for example they'll ask if my bottom is still sore...or they will rub their rear ends and giggle. Has it happened to others too?

If this is for real I am surprised. I spank my kids but I do not dare do it in public--in this day and age you stand a real good chance of being arrested.
At any rate--age twelve is not too old to get a spanking--but not in public. I believe that to the extent possble at any age a spanking should be done in private between parent and child. The point of a spanking is not undue embarrassment --just a good sting.
As a kid the only times I can recall a public spanking was a time in the car when Mom pulled the car over cuz we were acting up--and a couple times when shopping she took me into the ladies bathroom and smacked my rear. What Mom ususally did with public misbehavior was say she"owed me a spanking"--which was redeemable once we got home:(

listed here are some ideas- postpone a large sign asserting 'loose HUGS' Dance and sing incredibly loudly with on your ipod pretend to have a very undesirable combat with somebody on the telephone in a queue and initiate yelling and screaming nod off interior the path of a pathway or queue %. your nostril on an identical time as taking to a stranger they are all humorous and intensely embarrassing!
